Hostal Altamar

A new choice for 2010 is Hostal Altamar which offers unbeatable value accommodation in the heart of the historic old town.  You will be staying right in the historic centre with its cobbled lanes and enchanting shops and tapas bars, yet will still be only 100m from the beach.

Family run and extremely comfortable this is highly recommended for those who either don't want or don't need the facilities of a large hotel (Spanish hostals are usually family run small hotels with individual style, but lack the facilities of a full-on hotel such as lifts, pools, TV lounges, public bars and restaurants.  As a result they tend to have well defined characters and are usually very popular with Spanish tourists)

Altamar has it's own breakfast room and coffee bar where breakfast is served.  Our standard accommodation here is bed and breakfast basis, but evening meals are available as an option which are taken at the restaurant opposite.  See dates and prices pages for supplement payable.

17 well appointed comfortable rooms - available as singles, doubles or triple rooms, all equipped with en suite bathrooms, TV, air conditioning or fans / heating.  There is also one family accommodation layout with a double bed room and separate twin bedded room.

Self drive clients should note that parking is not possible in the immediate vicinity, as this is in the heart of the old town which is accessible only by foot.  Ample public parking is available within 300m (charge applies) or free on street parking  can be found the same distance away, subject to availability.
