| | Canyoning in Andalucia, Spain
What is Canyoning?Spain has an excellent climate and geography for canyoning. Canyoning is very popular and immensely exhilarating sport, as well as an excellent way to really get out and about in the countryside and see the best of Andalucia ! It involves navigating down a water course by a combination of walking, climbing, swimming, abseiling, jumping and generally scrambling down the river & its banks. It is suitable for pretty well all ages, though you should be fit and agile enough for a couple of hours of scrambling in and around flowing water, be a competent swimmer and not be of too nervous a disposition when it comes to jumping into pools of water from natural surroundings.
