Enjoy an amazing weeks riding holiday in Andalucia visiting two of our featured stables, each with fabulous forward going Andalucians ! Choice of English, Western or Spanish riding, based in lovely Almuñécar which is a fantastic typically Spanish sea side town. That means within walking distance of your accommodation you have all the historic old town & castle to explore, a myriad tapas bars & restaurants, as well as 26 separate beaches! Fantastic riding, Gorgeous weather, Super Andalucian horses and ample opportunity to experience the beautiful scenery here in Andalucia as you pass through olive and almond groves and traditional white villages with the glittering blue Mediterranean sea always present in the distance - or the chance for an exhilarating beach ride if conditions allow. Plus... a bit of sea kayaking, a guided walk & an evening Tapas Trail all thrown in as well ! - 3 morning or afternoon rides at Rock Beach Ranch where you may ride alongside the glittering blue Mediterranean, with the possibility of a beach ride (depending on conditions and ability). Or maybe head inland to explore the ancient mule trails & olive & almond groves in the hills overlooking the sea and coastal villages
- 2 morning or afternoon rides exploring the region to the west towards the Axarquia, which is a natural park of pine forests, wild life and waterfalls with spectacular scenery, super horses & superb riding!
- An afternoons sea kayaking in the beautiful blue Mediterranean sea. No experience necessary (but must be able to swim)
- Guided walk in the countryside with a guide who literally wrote the book for walks in this neighbourhood. See the historic Moorish watch towers (Atalayas) perched on the cliff tops, explore hidden coves and hills steeped in history. Cameras a must as the views are simply spectacular (approx 2 - 3hrs depending on route).
- An evening Tapas Trail in the historic old town where we take an evening stroll sampling local tapas in a variety of bars & cafés. €15 (approx £10) each in the kitty normally gives everyone plenty enough to eat as well as drink!!
- All internal transfers to stables, kayaking, etc.
