When you book a family activity, or adventure, holiday check out where it is based.  Some activity holiday companies are based in remote villages, or substantial drive / taxi journeys from the town or coast.  If that is what you want, that's fine, but consider (especially if you have teenagers or youngsters in tow) the practicalities of an evening out.  Here in Almuñécar you are ideally placed, as we have miles of beaches & sea front paseos, all the interest and intrigue of the old town, immediate access to the hills & sierras, but without the mass commercialisation which has so blighted parts of the Costa del Sol - and all within easy walking distance!

And, with a traditional town such as this, we don't get the excesses which blight many resorts.  As a result the streets are safe for everyone - from young to old.

Holidaying with youngsters?

Spain scores especially as everyone here just loves children of all ages, so there's no need to seek out "child friendly"  restaurants!  Here in Almuñécar all the main beaches and parks have good play areas for young children with slides, swings etc.  The main beaches are patrolled with lifeguards in the summer season, and have manned first aid stations.  Also, don't forget the transfer time from Malaga is only an hour, with the flight from UK also being a short one, which is a bonus with younger children.
