There is an exhibition of photographs by photo journalist Javier Celorrio, loosely themed around Ulysses, in the Museo de Siete Cuevas in Almunecar. Running until Sun 23rd August, the exhibition is mounted throughout the chambers of the museum and is sponsored by Almuñécar Town Council’s Department of Culture.
Running under the title “#ProyectoDark2020” the exhibition “has a thousand interior passageways and which is also a palace that could be that of Ulysses. These photos are light and dark, beginning and end or this and that in the wheel of time” according to Javier.
Recently diagnosed with cancer in his vocal chords, the artist has themed the works around light and dark, beginnings and ends and Ulysses’ journey.
Admission is free with opening hours of Tue to Sat 10.30 – 13.30 & 18.30 -21.00 and Sundya 10.30 a 13.30 .
