Sea Kayak Safari
Our 3hr guided sea kayak safari along the sea cliffs is a firm favourite, as we have the opportunity to stop for a swim and snorkel in the sea caves, before heading around the cliffs to a neighbouring bay. Here you stop for refreshments in a beach side chiringuito, before a leisurely return. Masks & snorkels supplied if you fancy exploring the crystal clear waters.
Typical Sea Kayak Safari
On arrival at the water sports centre you’ll be helped out with your buoyancy aid to wear. We then allocate the single and twin seat kayaks, with younger or smaller children being paired with an instructor or stronger adult. We then have a recap of basic kayak techniques as well as a safety brief and route briefing. The beach team will then help you in and launch you, then off we go. Your guide will always be close to hand to answer any questions. First we head across the bay before rounding the headland. Then we head along the sea cliffs towards a smugglers cave with a small shrine inside. After exploring this section you will then continue to a remote beach with chiringuitos, where you stop for a swim & snorkel. Here we have a short break for refreshments, before returning.
All our sea kayaks have fitted back rests, so are extremely comfortable to use. They are highly stable and unsinkable. Both single and double kayaks are available. Free hire of masks & snorkels is included.
