Our snorkelling safari is great fun and is suitable for all. We have the best diving sites for over 100 km right here at Marina del Este, and our instructors are here every day, so they know all the best areas. As a result they will ensure you see the very best sights.
Typical Snorkelling Safari Itinerary
After a full safety briefing you will get some helpful hints and tips on the right way to select and wear your dive mask and snorkel and to stop it from misting up. Buoyancy aids are available to use if you wish, but in your set suit you will be very “floaty” anyway.
Your instructor will then brief you on the different fish and other creatures such as octopus and cuttlefish you may see. We then get kitted up usually in summer with “shortie” style wet suits, boots and fins. In the water is cool we may use full length ones so we can enjoy the excursion for longer without getting chilled.
The excursion will start and finish from the main beach used for diving. The instructors know all the best sites and will guide you. As they spot anything of interest they will point it out to you.
We are sure to see to plenty of marine life and there is an adjacent beach bar for refreshments / ice creams / drinks afterwards.
If the bug bites (and it often does!) you can always try the very popular PADI Discover Scuba Diving Trial Dive for absolute beginners. We also offer a full range of PADI diving courses as well.
